Abstract
A hybrid tennis court with one type of surface applied to one side of the net from the net to the back fence and a different type of surface applied to the other side of the net from the net to the back fence. A hybrid court is useful as a teaching tool, for exhibitions, for injured players, and for adding a new dimension to the game of tennis. Also included in this invention is a golf course with two or more different types of surfaces used on different putting greens or a putting green with two ore more different types of surfaces on the same green or different types of surfaces on different fairways.
