1. A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network;
- the system comprising;
(a) a mobile call originating station;
said mobile call originating station originating a particular said special number call from a call locus;
said mobile call originating station including a position determining unit;
(b) a mobile switching station receiving said particular special number call;
said mobile switching station assigning a temporary identifier for said mobile call originating station at least during said particular special number call;
said temporary identifier comprising a temporary local directory number identifiable with said mobile call originating station and dialable to facilitate reaching said mobile call originating station;
(c) a mobile geolocation system coupled with said mobile switching station;
said mobile geolocation system cooperating with said mobile switching station to query said position determining unit for origination geographic information relating to said call locus;
(d) a first georouter database coupled with said mobile switching station;
said georouter database operative to perform a function of mapped routing; and
(e) a special number call service station coupled with said mobile switching station;
said particular special number call being routed to said special number call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information;
said special number call service station including an emergency services switch, a second georouter database, and an information store.

Abstract
A system for routing mobile special number calls in a telecommunication network includes: (a) a mobile call originating station for originating a special number call from a call locus; the mobile call originating station includes a position determining unit; (b) a mobile switching station for receiving the special number call; the mobile switching station assigns a temporary identifier for the mobile call originating station at least during the special number call; (c) a mobile geolocation system coupled with the mobile switching station; the mobile geolocation system cooperates with the mobile switching station to query the position determining unit for origination geographic information relating to the call locus; and (d) a special number call service station coupled with the mobile switching station; the special number call being routed to the special number call service station according to at least some of the origination geographic information.

- the method comprising the steps of;
(a) providing a mobile call originating station;
said mobile call originating station originating a particular said emergency call from a call locus;
said mobile call originating station including a position determining unit;

said mobile switching station receiving said particular emergency call;
said mobile switching station assigning a temporary identifier for said mobile call originating station at least during said particular emergency call;
said temporary identifier comprising a temporary local directory number identifiable with said mobile call originating station and dialable to facilitate reaching said mobile call originating station;
(c) providing a mobile geolocation system coupled with said mobile switching station;

said georouter database operative to perform a function of mapped routing; and
(e) providing an emergency call service station coupled with said mobile switching station;

said particular special number call being routed to said special number call service station according to at least some of said origination geographic information;

17. An emergency call routing method in a telecommunication network, the method comprising:

receiving a phone call from a mobile phone having a locus;
generating a temporary local directory number related to and identifiable with said mobile phone;
recognizing that said call comprises an emergency phone call;
querying a mobile geolocation system to request routing instructions for said call;
wherein the mobile geolocation system includes a first georouter database coupled with a mobile switching station and a special number call service station that includes an emergency services switch, a second georouter database and an information store, said georouter database operative to perform a function of mapped routing;
querying said position determining equipment for geographic information relating to said locus of said mobile phone;
providing to said mobile geolocation system and said mobile switching center geographic information relating to said locus of said mobile phone;
