An improved cooled stator for an electric machine with a rotating rotor, which stator is formed with a magnetic laminated core and comprises at least one flexibly deformable cooling channel, which acts on the laminated core, for flowing cooling medium in a fluid state, wherein the improvement comprises the cooling channel formed with at least one flexible corrugated metal hose.
