Abstract

A system for providing game advice to a user of a gaming application comprises a server and a processor remotely coupled to the server. The server executes a gaming application and monitors a plurality of game events during the execution of the gaming application. The server further communicates event information associated with at least one game event. The processor receives the event information and generates game advice associated with the gaming application based at least in part upon the event information. The processor further presents the game advice to the user during the execution of the gaming application.

Claims

1. A system for providing game advice to a user of a gaming application, comprising:

a server that;

executes a gaming application;

monitors a plurality of game events during the execution of the gaming application; and

communicates event information associated with at least one game event; and

a processor remotely coupled to the server that;

receives the event information;

generates game advice associated with the gaming application based at least in part upon the event information, wherein the game advice comprises wager advice that is base at least in part upon event information associated with an opponent of the user in the gaming application; and

presents the game advice to the user during the execution of the gaming application.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein each game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the event information comprises:

a gaming application identifier;

a user identifier;

an event type;

an event value; and

an event timestamp.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the game advice comprises a plurality of game event options.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the event information comprises first event information and the game advice comprises first game advice, the processor:

receives second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application;

generates second game advice associated with the second gaming application based at least in part upon the second event information; and

presents the second game advice to the second user during the execution of the second gaming application.

6. The system of claim 5, further comprising a second server that hosts the second gaming application.

7. The system of claim 5, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the second event information substantially simultaneously.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the processor:

determines statistics information based at least in part upon the event information; and

generates the game advice based at least in part upon the statistics information.

9. The system of claim 1, further comprising a memory coupled to the processor that stores profile information, and wherein the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon the profile information.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the processor determines the profile information based at least in part upon the event information.

11. The system of claim 9, wherein the profile information comprises wagering parameters and the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon the wagering parameters.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the memory stores a plurality of wager records and the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon at least one of the wager records.

13. The system of claim 1, further comprising a second server that:

monitors a second plurality of game events; and

communicates second event information associated with at least one of the second plurality of game events; and

wherein the processor;

receives the second event information; and

generates the game advice based at least in part upon the second event information.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the second plurality of game events is associated with a second gaming application.

15. A platform for providing game advice to a user of a gaming application, comprising a processor that:

receives event information associated with a game event, wherein the game event is associated with the execution by a user of a gaming application hosted by a remote server;

generates game advice associated with the gaming application based at least in part upon the event information, wherein the game advice comprises wager advice that is based at least in part upon information associated with an opponent of the user in the gaming application; and

presents the game advice to a user during the execution of the gaming application.

16. The platform of claim 15, wherein the game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.

17. The platform of claim 15, wherein the event information comprises:

a gaming application identifier;

a user identifier;

an event type;

an event value; and

an event timestamp.

18. The platform of claim 15, wherein the game advice comprises a plurality of game event options.

19. The platform of claim 15, wherein the user comprises a first user and the event information comprises first event information, and the processor:

receives second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application;

generates second game advice associated with the second gaming application based at least in part upon the second event information; and

presents the second game advice to the second user during the execution of the second gaming application.

20. The platform of claim 19, wherein the second gaming application is hosted by a second remote server.

21. The platform of claim 19, wherein the processor receives the first event information and the second event information substantially simultaneously.

22. The platform of claim 15, wherein the processor:

determines statistics information based at least in part upon the event information; and

generates the game advice based at least in part upon the statistics information.

23. The platform of claim 15, further comprising a memory coupled to the processor that stores profile information, and wherein the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon the profile information.

24. The platform of claim 23, wherein the processor determines the profile information based at least in part upon the event information.

25. The platform of claim 23, wherein the profile information comprises wagering parameters and the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon the wagering parameters.

26. The platform of claim 15, wherein the memory stores a plurality of wager records and the processor generates the game advice based at least in part upon at least one of the wager records.

27. The platform of claim 15, wherein the gaming application comprises a first gaming application and the processor:

receives second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution of a second gaming application by a second remote server; and

generates the game advice based at least in part upon the second event information.

28. The platform of claim 27, wherein the first gaming application and the second gaming application are substantially similar.

29. The method of claim 15, wherein the first gaming application and the second gaming application are substantially similar.

30. The method of claim 15, wherein the wager advice comprises advice relating to whether to place a wager.

31. The method of claim 15, wherein the wager advice is based at least in part on wager records of the user or an opponent of the user.

32. The method of claim 15, wherein the wager advice is based at least in part on wager preferences of the user or an opponent of the user.

33. The method of claim 32, wherein the wager preferences comprises preferred wager amounts.

34. The method of claim 32, wherein the wager preferences comprises preferred wager types.

35. The method of claim 32, wherein the wager preferences comprises preferred wager events.

36. A method for providing game advice to a user of a gaming application, comprising:

receiving event information associated with a game event, wherein the game event is associated with the execution by a user of a gaming application hosted by a remote server;

generating game advice associated with the gaming application based at least in part upon the event information, wherein the game advice comprises wager advice that is based at least in part upon event information associated with an opponent of the user in the gaming application; and

presenting the game advice to the user during the execution of the gaming application.

37. The method of claim 36, wherein the game event comprises an action performed during the execution of the gaming application that changes the state of the gaming application.

38. The method of claim 36, wherein the event information comprises:

a gaming application identifier;

a user identifier;

an event type;

an event value; and

an event timestamp.

39. The method of claim 36, wherein the game advice comprises a plurality of game event options.

40. The method of claim 36, wherein the user comprises a first user and the event information comprises first event information, the method further comprising:

receiving second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution by a second user of a second gaming application;

generating second game advice associated with the second gaming application based at least in part upon the second event information; and

presenting the second game advice to the second user during the execution of the second gaming application.

41. The method of claim 40, wherein the second gaming application is hosted by a second remote server.

42. The method of claim 40, wherein the execution of the first gaming application overlaps in time at least in part with the execution of the second gaming application.

43. The method of claim 36, further comprising determining statistics information based at least in part upon the event information, wherein generating game advice comprises generating the game advice based at least in part upon the statistics information.

44. The method of claim 36, further comprising storing profile information, wherein generating game advice comprises generate the game advice based at least in part upon the profile information.

45. The method of claim 44, further comprising determining the profile information based at least in part upon the event information.

46. The method of claim 44, wherein the profile information comprises wagering parameters and generating game advice comprises generating the game advice based at least in part upon the wagering parameters.

47. The method of claim 36, further comprising storing a plurality of wager records, wherein generating game advice comprises generating game advice based at least in part upon at least one of the wager records.

48. The method of claim 36, wherein the gaming application comprises a first gaming application and further comprising receiving second event information associated with a second game event, wherein the second game event is associated with the execution of a second gaming application by a second remote server, and wherein generating game advice comprises generating game advice based at least in part upon the second event information.

49. The method of claim 48, wherein the first gaming application and the second gaming application are substantially similar.
