1. A radiation image converting panel comprising a support having thereon a stimulable phosphor layer produced by a vapor phase method so as to have a thickness of 50 μ

  • m to 1 mm,wherein the stimulable phosphor layer comprises a stimulable phosphor comprising at least two kinds of rare earth compounds each having a different rare earth element, and the rare earth compounds being uniformly present in the stimulable phosphor layer, andwherein a photostimulated delayed luminance ratio defined by Eb/Ea is 0.0001 to 0.1%;

    (i) Ea being a luminance of a photostimulated emission from the radiation image converting panel after being irradiated with X ray and subsequently being stimulated with a laser; and

    (ii) Eb being a luminance of the stimulated delayed emission from the radiation image converting panel at 300 msec after suspension of stimulation with the laser.
