Abstract
A four-group endoscope objective lens includes, in order from the object side, a first lens group of negative refractive power, a second lens group of positive refractive power, a diaphragm, and third and fourth lens groups of positive refractive power. The second and fourth lens groups each include a lens component that includes two lens elements. Some lens elements of the first, third, and fourth lens groups have particular shapes or refractive powers. The endoscope objective lens may include only six lens elements and satisfy certain specified conditions.
