1. A switching power converter controller, wherein the switching power converter controller controls a plurality of pulse-width-modulated switching power converters, comprising:
- a processor configured to control the pulse widths for each switching power convener to regulate the corresponding power from each switching power converter, wherein the pulse widths for the switching power converters are defined with respect to a single period; and
wherein the processor is further configured to control the pulse widths for each switching power convener in a given period based upon feedback information from each power converter in previous periods, and wherein the processor is further configured to calculate the power transferred from an at least one power source to each switching power converter and to calculate the charge remaining in the at least one power source based upon the calculated transferred power.
