1. An apparatus for detecting at least one of human physiological and contextual information from the body of a wearer, comprising:

  • a flexible section for engaging at least a portion of said body;

    a housing removably attached to and supported by said flexible section;

    a strap attached to said flexible section for securing said flexible section to said body;

    one or more sensors supported by said housing, said one or more sensors selected from the group consisting of physiological sensors and contextual sensors; and

    a processing unit supported by said housing in electronic communication with said one or more sensors.
