- a filter having a filtering portion, the filter having a first position and a second position;
a sliding member;
wherein when the sliding member is in a first location, the filter is in the first position and when the sliding member is in a second location, the filter is in the second position, wherein the sliding member is slidably disposed on the filtering portion in at least one of the first and second positions.

a filter having a filtering portion, the filter having a first position and a second position; and a sliding member having a lumen therethrough, wherein the filter is at least partially disposed in the lumen of the sliding member, wherein the filtering portion comprises struts that splay outward when in an unconstrained position, wherein when the sliding member is in a first location, the filter is in the first position and when the sliding member is in a second location, the filter is in the second position, wherein the sliding member is slidably disposed on the filtering portion in at least one of the first and second positions.
