System using graphic interface to perform stock management
First Claim
1. A stock management system using a graphical interface generated by a warehouse layout generating module containing a storage location status legend bar displaying at least six statuses of the store location in the warehouse layout for a real-time response data warehousing, which comprises:
- a database, which stores data for the stock management and links each of the following modules for performing the graphical interface stock management;
a warehouse allocation designing module, which allows a user to design the sizes of a stock, its storage areas and storage locations along with relevant parameters according to practical needs;
a data receiving module, which receives the data of the stock, the storage areas, the storage locations and a plurality of goods;
the stock layout generating module, which plots a warehouse layout according to the data received by the data receiving module wherein the operation interface generated by the warehouse layout generating module contains the storage location status legend bar for displaying the statuses of the storage locations in the warehouse layout, and the storage location status legend bar shows possible statuses of vacant storage locations, occupied storage locations, delivery lock-in, arrival lock-in, commodity moving-out, and commodity moving-in labeled by different icons or colors;
a warehouse layout operating module, which displays a message corresponding to the operations done by the user to the warehouse layout; and
a data storing module, which stores the warehouse layout operations done by the user in the database.

Abstract
A system that uses a graphic interface to perform stock management is disclosed. It is comprised of a database to store data needed for stock management and to link each of the following modules to perform stock management using the graphic interface. The modules include a stock allocation designing module, which helps a user decide the size of a stock, storage areas, storage space and relevant attributes according to practical needs; a data receiving module, which receives the data of the stock, the storage areas, the storage space and a plurality of goods; a stock layout generating module, which plots a stock layout according to the data received by the data receiving module; a stock operating module, which displays messages corresponding to the operations the user has performed on the stock layout; and a data storage module, which saves the results of the operations performed on the stock layout by the user in the database.
