1. A method for measuring an analyte in a sample, comprising:

  • a step of forming a detectable substance based on a chemical reaction of the analyte in the sample, in a liquid phase reaction system which comprises a reaction solvent and a layered inorganic compound dispersed in the reaction system, wherein at least one substance insoluble in the reaction solvent is formed in the chemical reaction, wherein the substance insoluble in the reaction solvent is absorbed to the layered inorganic compound, wherein precipitation of the substance insoluble in the reaction solvent is suppressed, and wherein the substance insoluble in the reaction solvent is dispersed in the reaction system; and

    a step of measuring the detectable substance, thereby measuring the analyte.
