1. A method for providing contact data in a wireless telecommunication system, comprising:

  • receiving contact information from a first mobile station for at least one contact data record in a memory module of the first mobile station using at least one of an interactive voice response system (IVR), a voice portal, and a short message service;

    transferring wirelessly the at least one contact data record into a contact database located remotely from the first mobile station;

    receiving a selection from a second mobile station for the at least one contact data record in the contact database using at least one of an interactive voice response system (IVR), a voice portal, and a short message service; and

    transferring wirelessly the at least one contact data record into a memory module of the second mobile station in the wireless telecommunication system, the contact database located remotely from the second mobile station.
