1. An implantable cardiac rhythm management (CRM) device comprising:

  • at least one sensing circuit, configured for receiving at least one heart signal from a heart;

    a processor, configured to process information obtained from the at least one heart signal to generate a substantially real-time event marker and a substantially real-time electrogram; and

    at least one communication circuit, configured to communicate the substantially real-time event marker and the substantially real-time electrogram from the implantable CRM device, in which the event marker includes a timestamp relating at least in part to an approximate time between an event associated with the event marker and another event associated with another event marker for aligning an indication of the event marker to a substantially real-time representation of a heart signal on one of a display or a recording that is remote from the implantable CRM device.
