Abstract
An implantable energy supply system having at least two cells is disclosed. The system may have a switch with a first state in which the cells are electrically connected to a load, and a second state in which each cell is electrically connected with its own charger. A measurer may be electrically connected to a cell to provide an indication of the charge on the cell.

19. A method of charging cells in an implantable medical device, comprising:
-
providing a first cell and a second cell; providing a switch having a first state in which the cells are electrically connected to a load, and a second state in which each cell is electrically connected to its own charger; providing a measurer electrically connected to each cell and providing an indication of the charge on each cell placing the switch in the second state; supplying electricity to the first cell; measuring a charge on the first cell and providing an indication of the charge; placing the switch in the first state when the indication of the charge indicates the cell is charged to a predetermined level. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21)
