1. A device for retrieving and analyzing data from a data logger, said device comprisinga. a first interface adapted for wireless retrieval of data from a data logger;

  • b. a control unit in communication with said first interface;

    c. a dedicated operating system comprising one or more executable program modules that are capable of analyzing the data retrieved from a data logger, wherein said dedicated operating system includes a program module that is capable of analyzing the data and determining if an item has been exposed to an environmental condition exceeding a predetermined threshold;

    d. an output device operatively connected to said control unit and capable of producing a sensory output;

    e. a user interface in communication with said control unit and configured to allow a user to input operational commands;

    f. an associated memory component in communication with said control unit and capable of storing data retrieved from a data logger; and

    g. a second interface adapted for downloading stored data from said associated memory component to an external computer.
