Vibration damping device for use in automotive suspension system and suspension system using the same
First Claim
1. A vibration damping device for use in a suspension system of an automotive vehicle, adapted to be disposed at a linking portion between a body of the vehicle and a suspension member that connects and supports a wheel on the body, the vibration damping device comprising a load sensing unit adapted to sense a signal corresponding to a load exerted between the body and the suspension member, wherein the load sensing unit is capable of sensing external force exerted on the wheel in each of three directions, a lengthwise direction, a lateral direction, and a vertical direction of the vehicle, on a basis of a signal corresponding to a load exerted across the body and the wheel.
