1. A data processing system including a legacy data base management system having a command language coupled to a publicly accessible digital data communication network comprising:
- a. a user terminal coupled to said legacy data base management system via said publicly accessible digital data communication network;
b. a service request generated by said user terminal transferred to said legacy data base management system for honoring through execution of said command language by said legacy data base management system thereby producing a response and temporary computational data; and
c. a facility responsively coupled to said legacy data base management system which saves said temporary computational data as a table for later use at a request by said user terminal at a location specified by said user terminal.

Abstract
An apparatus for and method of temporarily, or permanently, saving the current computational data as a table within a legacy data base management system for later use within the current computational service or for use in a following computational service. In particular, the apparatus enables the generation of XML output documents with computational data from more than one source. The DTD, IDT, and other key conversion components may be stored within a repository of the legacy data base management system.
