1. A system for logically separating a first page of digitally represented handwriting from a second page of digitally represented handwriting, comprising:

  • a digitizer configured to capture inked input on a page during a note taking session;

    a memory configured to store captured inked input on the page; and

    a processor configured to;

    determine whether inked input captured on a first page and inked input captured on a second page occurred during separate note take sessions, andstore in the memory an indication that the first page and the second page are logically separate if the inked input on the first page was captured during a first note taking session and the inked input on the second page was captured during a second note taking session.
