1. A noise suppressing apparatus comprising:

  • a noise reduction device for estimating a spectrum of a surrounding noise only when an input signal is soundless and for performing a spectrum subtraction of the input signal based on the estimated noise spectrum;

    a noise reduction execution determiner for estimating a signal noise ratio from the input signal and for determining whether or not the signal noise ratio is equal to or more than a threshold value; and

    a switch portion for selecting an output signal of the noise reduction device based on an output signal of the noise reduction execution determiner only when the signal noise ratio is equal to or more than the threshold value and for selecting the input signal otherwise,wherein the noise reduction execution determiner controls the switch portion by obtaining a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of a frame power value of the input signal and by comparing the difference with the threshold value.
