1. A vehicle having a rotating electric machine, wherein:

  • said rotating electric machine has a stator and a rotor held rotatably inside said stator;

    said stator comprises a stator core and stator windings;

    said stator windings comprise three-phase windings which wound on said stator core;

    said rotor comprises a rotor core and a plurality of permanent magnets held inside said rotor core;

    a plurality of auxiliary magnetic pole areas are formed in said rotor core, along a direction surrounding said rotor core;

    said permanent magnets are arranged between said auxiliary magnetic pole areas, so that permanent magnets which are located on both sides of each of said auxiliary magnetic pole areas have different polarities;

    a reluctance torque is generated at said auxiliary magnetic pole areas based on a magnetomotive force which is generated by three phase current flowing through said stator windings;

    said vehicle further comprises a battery and a control apparatus, as well as an inverter; and

    said inverter controls a three-phase current flowing through said stator windings based on an outputs of said control apparatus.
