1. An implantable medical device, comprising a coating, the coating including a poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol)polymer, wherein the poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol)polymer comprises hydrophilic units derived from ethylene glycol between about 40% and about 90 molar % of the total units of the PBT-PEG polymer, andwherein the coating is formed-by a method comprising a post-coating process to cause the hydrophilic units to be extracted or bloom to the coating-air interface.

8. An implantable medical device, comprising a coating, the coating including a first region comprising poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol) and a second region comprising poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol), wherein the mole % of the ethylene glycol is higher in the second region than the first region,
wherein units of ethylene glycol in poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol) of the first region or units of ethylene glycol in poly(butylene terephthalate-co-ethylene glycol) of the second region were extracted or bloomed to the coating-air interface.
