Wireless communication method, base station, and receiving terminal
First Claim
1. A wireless communication method in which a receiving terminal receives broadcast control channel information having a plurality of blocks, the broadcast control channel information being transmitted by rotation of a beam transmitted from a directional antenna of a base station, the wireless communication method comprising the steps of:
- receiving the broadcast control channel information in the case where the directional antenna has transmitted the broadcast control channel information based on a condition necessary for receiving all the blocks of the broadcast control channel information;
calculating reception-not-ready timing based on a reception period and timing when the receiving terminal receives a block of the broadcast control channel information during the reception period, the reception-not-ready timing indicating timing when the receiving terminal cannot receive a block of the broadcast control channel information, the reception period indicating an interval between the time points when the receiving terminal receives the broadcast control channel information; and
controlling the receiving terminal not to perform an operation for receiving the broadcast control channel information during the reception-not-ready timing,wherein in the controlling a power supply unit is controlled not to supply power to a receiving unit of the receiving terminal during the reception-not-ready timing.

Abstract
A wireless communication method includes the steps of: calculating a transmission block number-related condition necessary for enabling a receiving terminal to receive all the blocks of broadcast control channel information based on the total number of the blocks and a transmission block number; calculating a rotation angular velocity-related condition based on the foregoing condition, a block unit time, and a coverage angle; and controlling a first directional antenna to rotate a beam at a rotation angular velocity decided based on the condition relating to the rotation angular velocity of the beam.

2. A receiving terminal for receiving broadcast control channel information having a plurality of blocks, the broadcast control channel information being transmitted by rotation of a beam transmitted from a directional antenna of a base station, the receiving terminal comprising:
-
a receiver for receiving the broadcast control channel information in a case where the directional antenna has transmitted the broadcast control channel information based on a condition necessary for receiving all the blocks of the broadcast control channel information; a calculator for calculating reception-not-ready timing indicating timing when the receiver cannot receive a block of the broadcast control channel information based on a reception period and timing when the receiver receives a block of the broadcast control channel information during the reception period, the reception period indicating an interval between the time points when the receiver receives the broadcast control channel information; and a reception controller for controlling the receiver not to receive the broadcast control channel information during the reception-not-ready timing, wherein the reception controller controls a power supply unit not to supply power to the receiving during the reception-not-ready timing.
