1. A system for tracking explosive materials, comprising:
- a first radio frequency identification (RFID) identifier attached to a container of an explosive material;
a transportation unit for transporting said explosive material and having means for transmitting information;
a storage element having means for transmitting information;
a second identifier incorporated within said explosive material, wherein said second identifier is a visibility device, in form of a micro-fiber less than 100 microns in diameter;
a plurality of data receiving devices located at predetermined locations on said transportation unit and adapted for receiving information from said first identifier, said second identifier, said transportation unit and said storage element; and
a database having means for receiving information from said plurality of data receiving devices for tracking said explosive material.
