Abstract

A method for treating subjects with abnormal cell proliferation is provided. The method involves administering to subjects in need of such treatment an effective amount of an agent of Formula I, to inhibit cell proliferation such as that associated with tumor growth and metastasis. A method for inhibiting angiogenesis in an abnormal proliferative cell mass by the administration of an agent of Formula I is also provided.

Claims

1. A method for treating a subject having a condition characterized by an abnormal mammalian cell proliferation, comprising:

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the condition is breast cancer or colorectal cancer.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the condition is fibrosarcoma, osteosarcoma, or liposarcoma.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the condition is melanoma.

10. The method of claims 1-9, wherein the agent is administered orally.

11. The method of claim 10, further comprising administering to the subject an anti-cancer compound.

12. The method of claims 1-9, further comprising administering to the subject an anti-cancer compound.
