1. A method of requesting a data service in interworking wireless public and private networks, comprising:

  • setting up, by a user, information as to which of the public and private networks is to receive the data service;

    storing the information set up by the user in a private network database;

    when any user requests the data service, retrieving an identifier of a corresponding user terminal from said private network database, and providing the data service through a corresponding one of said private network and said public network depending on a status set up in the database; and

    releasing a function for setting up the data service through the private network;

    wherein setting up said identifier by the user, is performed by the user inputting and setting up digits using button keys of a wireless terminal of the user;

    wherein the digits include a combination of a private network access code, a function access code, and a characteristic code which is a private network data service setup function code.
