Heat spreader for display device
First Claim
1. A display device, comprising a chassis mounted to a panel, and a heat spreader which comprises at least one sheet of compressed particles of exfoliated graphite having two major surfaces, where the heat spreader is disposed between the panel and the chassis, the heat spreader further comprising a biasing material having two major surfaces, wherein the biasing material comprises a foam and one of the major surfaces of the biasing material is positioned between the at least one sheet of compressed particles of exfoliated graphite and the chassis, further wherein the biasing material forces the heat spreader against the panel in response to pressure applied to the biasing material by the chassis, to increase thermal contact between the heat spreader and the panel.
