1. A method of compensating for disc eccentricity in an optical disc recording/reproducing servo system, the method comprising:

  • extracting eccentricity data from a tracking error signal having one period, the tracking error signal being generated by a tracking servo;

    measuring parameter values of an eccentricity component extracted during the extraction of the eccentricity data;

    transforming a reference sine wave based on the measured parameter values of the eccentricity component;

    replacing the eccentricity data with the transformed reference sine wave; and

    adding the replaced eccentricity data to the tracking error signal to compensate for the disc eccentricity.
