  • a first tubular segment comprising a smooth outer surface and an inner lumen surface, the first tubular segment including a distal portion defining a distal opening, the first segment also including a proximal portion defining a proximal opening, the first segment defining a lumen extending between the distal opening and the proximal opening;

    a second tubular segment comprising a smooth outer surface and an inner lumen surface, the second tubular segment including a distal portion defining a distal opening, the second segment also including a proximal portion defining a proximal opening, the second segment defining a lumen extending between the distal opening and the proximal opening; and

    an externally-adjustable tie connecting the proximal portion of the first segment and the distal portion of the second segment, the tie extending outside of the patient'"'"'s body when the medical device is inserted into the patient'"'"'s urethra.
