1. A radio transceiver, comprising:
- a first radio and a second radio that transmit and receive using a first frequency and a second frequency respectively;
a first antenna and a second antenna having a first coverage area and a second coverage area respectively, the first antenna and the second antenna couple to the first radio and the second radio respectively;
a first antenna spacer and a second antenna spacer mount to the first antenna and the second antenna respectively; and
a shield having a size, a first side, and a second side;
wherein;
the first antenna spacer mounts to the first side thereby positioning the first antenna a first distance from the first side;
the second antenna spacer mounts to the second side thereby positioning the second antenna a second distance from the second side;
a distance between the first antenna and the second antenna comprises at most two times the wavelength of at least one of the first frequency and the second frequency; and
the first coverage area overlaps the second coverage area thereby forming at least one virtual sector.

Abstract
A wireless radio transceiver which reduces interference between antennas positioned in substantially close proximity is disclosed. The exemplary radio transceiver comprises at least two radios, at least one antenna interfacing with each of the radios, at least one antenna spacer mounted to each of the antennas, and at least one shield, wherein each of the antenna spacers are mounted to one of the shields.
