1. A roll-over suppressing control apparatus for a vehicle, comprising:

  • braking means for braking a wheel of said vehicle;

    engine output adjustment means capable of controlling output power of an engine of said vehicle;

    roll rate detection means for detecting a roll rate of said vehicle;

    lateral acceleration detection means for detecting a lateral acceleration of said vehicle; and

    roll-over suppressing control means for causing said braking means and said engine output adjustment means to apply braking force and to suppress the output power of said engine, respectively, if a first control carrying out condition based on a value of the roll rate detected by said roll rate detection means is satisfied upon turning of said vehicle and for causing said braking means to apply braking force when a second control carrying out condition based on a value of the lateral acceleration detected by said lateral acceleration detection means is satisfied upon turning of said vehicle,said roll-over suppressing control means controlling, when the first control carrying out condition is satisfied, said braking means so as to apply braking force of a first control amount corresponding to the value of the roll rate to said wheel and controlling said engine output adjustment means so as to suppress the output power of said engine, and controlling, when the second control carrying out condition is satisfied, said braking means so as to apply braking force of a second control amount corresponding to the value of the lateral acceleration to said wheel.
