1. An eyeglass frame, comprising:
- a frame body including a frame portion and first and second earstem portions, said frame portion defining first and second orbitals, each of said orbitals configured to support an optical lens, said earstem portions being spaced from one another and extending in a rearward direction from said frame portion;
wherein said frame body comprises a first member and a second member, said first member and said second member being at least partially coextensive, and each of said first and second members defining a portion of an outer surface of said frame body, said second member formed of one of a transparent and a translucent material such that said first member is visible through said second member.

Abstract
An eyeglass frame that includes a frame body having a lens support portion, and first and second earstem portions, which extend rearwardly from first and second lateral sides of the lens support portion, respectively. The frame body includes a first member and a second member. The first and second members are partially coextensive, and each of the first and second members define a portion of an outward-facing surface of the eyeglass frame.

10. An eyeglass frame comprising a frame body including a frame portion and first and second earstem portions, said frame portion defining at least one orbital configured to support an optical lens, wherein said frame body comprises a first layer and a second layer, said first layer and said second layer being at least partially coextensive, and means for affixing said first layer to said second layer such that each of said first and second layer define a portion of an outer surface of said frame body, said second layer formed of one of a transparent and a translucent material such that said first layer is visible through said second layer.

11. An eyeglass frame, comprising:
-
a plurality of plate-like members cooperating to form a discontinuous frame portion defining at least one orbital; a frame member sized and shaped to interconnect at least a portion of said plurality of plate-like members; wherein said portion of said plate-like members are supported by said frame member and wherein at least a portion of each of said plate-like members extends beyond an edge of a surface of said frame member on which said plate-like member is supported. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15)
