1. A radiation thermometer, comprising:

  • an infrared-ray sensor for measuring a quantity of infrared rays irradiated from an object being measured;

    sensor-temperature measuring means for measuring a temperature of the infrared-ray sensor;

    temperature calculating means for calculating a temperature of the object being measured, on the basis of a quantity of infrared rays irradiated from the object being measured, and a temperature of the infrared-ray sensors;

    an infrared-ray sensor receiving member for receiving the infrared-ray sensor which comprises an object-side portion facing a side of the object being measured, relative to the infrared-ray sensor, andtemperature-distribution measuring means for measuring a temperature distribution of the object-side portion,wherein the temperature calculating means has the further functions of calculating a quantity of infrared rays irradiated from the object-side portion on the basis of the temperature distribution measured by the temperature-distribution measuring means and calculates a temperature of the object being measured, on the basis of a quantity of infrared rays irradiated from the object being measured, a temperature of the infrared-ray sensor and the calculated quantity of infrared rays irradiated from the object-side portion.
