1. A system including:
- a biomolecule bead-containing tube comprising a biomolecule bead array in which biomolecule beads having a specific biomolecule immobilized thereon, and marker beads comprising first marker beads having a light absorbing optical property and second marker beads having a light transmissive optical property, are arranged in a tubular container made of a material configured to transmit light having a specific wavelength,a device for determining the arrangement of the biomolecule beads and the marker beads which are in a predetermined order within the biomolecule bead array, wherein a first arrangement of a first set of biomolecule beads and marker beads in the tube corresponds to specimen identification information which identifies a specimen in the tube, wherein a second arrangement of a second set of biomolecule beads and marker beads in the tube corresponds to tube identification information which identifies the tube, and biomolecule attribution information which identifies the biomolecule beads; and
wherein said tube identification information is encoded on the marker beads using a pattern of the first and second marker beads, the light absorbing and light transmissive optical properties optically distinguishing the first and second marker beads from each other.

Abstract
A test apparatus is for testing a DNA substrate on which a plurality of DNA fragments for testing are arranged, wherein absolute precision is not required. A substrate is provided on which a plurality of biomolecule spots containing a group of biomolecules (e.g., DNA, etc.) of a specific type are formed, where the pattern or position of the DNA spot is changed depending on specific data so that information of the specific data is recorded on the substrate.

2. A method for analyzing a specimen comprising the steps of:
-
arranging in a bead-containing tube, biomolecule beads having a specific biomolecule type immobilized thereon and marker beads comprising, first marker beads having a light absorbing optical property and second marker beads having a light transmissive optical property, encoding tube identification information on the marker beads using a pattern of the first and second marker beads, the tube identification information identifying the tube containing the specimen; storing the tube identification information in a memory; and analyzing the specimen by irradiating the pattern of the first and second marker beads with a light to read out an emitted light from the biomolecule beads and marker beads in the bead-containing tube so as to optically read out the encoded tube identification information and identify the tube containing the specimen, the light absorbing and light transmissive optical properties optically distinguishing the first and second marker beads from each other. - View Dependent Claims (3, 4, 5)
