1. A method for measuring the interaction of a physiologically active substance with a test substance and for measuring the biological activity of the physiologically active substance in the presence of the test substance using a biosensor, said method comprising:
- (1) contacting at least one test substance with a biosensor comprising a physiologically active substance immobilized on a substrate;
(2) detecting or measuring the interaction between the physiologically active substance and said at least one test substance; and
(3) measuring the biological activity of the physiologically active substance in the presence of said at least one test substance,wherein, the detection and measurement of said at least one test substance interacting with said physiologically active substance and the measurement of the biological activity of said physiologically active substance are carried out in different steps.

Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for simultaneously carrying out the detection or measurement of a substance interacting with a physiologically active substance immobilized on a biosensor and the analysis of the effects of the above substance on the biological activity of the physiologically active substance. The present invention provides a method using a biosensor formed by immobilizing a physiologically active substance on a substrate, wherein the detection and measurement of a substance interacting with said physiologically active substance and the measurement of the biological activity of said physiologically active substance are carried out on said single biosensor.

7. A method for screening a test substance for interaction with a physiologically active substance and for modification of the biological activity of said physiologically active substance, said method comprising:
