Object oriented based, business class methodology for generating quasi-static web pages at periodic intervals
First Claim
1. A method for providing a requestor with access to dynamic data via quasi-static data requests, comprising the steps of:
- (a) defining a web page, said web page including at least one dynamic element and being associated with at least one Business Class definition;
(b) creating an executable digital code to be run on a computer and invoked at defined intervals by a scheduler component, said executable code effective to create and store a quasi-static copy of said defined web page;
(c) creating said scheduler component capable of invoking said executable code at predefined intervals;
(d) loading said executable component and said scheduler component onto a platform in connectivity with a web server and with one another;
(e) invoking execution of said scheduler component; and
(f) retrieving and returning said quasi-static copy of said defined web page in response to requests for said defined web page;
wherein the creation of said executable code and the creation of the scheduler component are generated from attributes and processes of the Business Class definitions associated with said defined web page.

Abstract
A method for providing a requestor with access to dynamic data via quasi-static data requests, comprising the steps of defining a web page, the web page including at least one dynamic element, creating an executable digital code to be run on a computer and invoked at defined intervals by a scheduler component the executable code effective to create and storing a quasi-static copy of the defined web page, creating the scheduler component capable of invoking the executable code at predefined intervals, loading the executable code and the scheduler component onto a platform in connectivity with a web server and with one another, invoking execution of the scheduler component, and retrieving and returning the static copy of the defined web page in response to requests for the defined web page.

6. A method for providing a requestor with access to dynamic data via quasi-static data requests, comprising the steps of:
-
modeling business activities as interactions and relationships between a plurality of business classes, the business classes including attributes and processes corresponding to data elements of the business activities; defining a web page including at least one element containing dynamic data; associating at least one attribute or process of the business classes with the at least one element containing dynamic data; periodically invoking an executable to generate a static copy of the defined web page based on the at least one attribute or process associated with the at least one element containing dynamic data; and upon receiving a request for the defined web page from the requestor, returning the generated static copy of the web page, as already generated by the periodically invoked executable, instead of dynamically generating the defined web page. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9)
