1. A power converter comprising:

  • a control unit having at least one digital data interface and at least one analog data interface for receiving first and second sets of programming voltage data, respectively, the control unit (1) determining an output voltage in accordance with the first set of programming voltage data if only said first set of programming voltage data is received by said at least one digital data interface, (2) determining said output voltage in accordance with said second set of programming voltage data if only said second set of programming voltage data is received by said at least one analog data interface, and (3) determining said output voltage in accordance with only one of said first and second sets of programming voltage data if both said first and second sets of programming voltage data are received by said at least one digital data interface and said at least one analog data interface, respectively; and

    a power conversion circuit operatively coupled to the control unit and producing said output voltage;

    wherein, if both said first and second sets of programming voltage data are received by said at least one digital data interface and said at least one analog data interface, the control unit selects only one of said first and second sets of programming voltage data received by the at least one digital data interface and the at least one analog data interface, respectively, in accordance with a predetermined selection order.
