1. A golf ball comprising:
- a core having an outer surface and a geometric center and being formed from a substantially homogenous formulation throughout;
an intermediate layer; and
a cover layer;
wherein the surface and the center have a hardness, the hardness of the surface being lower than the hardness of the center, and wherein a ratio of antioxidant to initiator used in said formulation is greater than about 0.40 when normalized to 100% activity.

14. A golf ball comprising:
-
a core having a substantially homogenous formulation throughout and an outer surface and a center; an inner cover layer comprising an ionomer or highly-neutralized ionomer; and an outer cover layer comprising a polyurethane or polyurea material, about 330 to about 392 dimples having up to 7 different dimple sizes, and a staggered wave parting line; wherein the hardness of the center of the core is higher than the hardness of the surface of the core, and wherein the hardness of the center of the core is less than about 10 Shore C lower than the highest hardness of the core. - View Dependent Claims (15, 16)
