1. A document inserter system for creating a hazardous material detector comprising:

  • an input system for feeding sheets of paper into the insertion system for creation of a collation for feeding into an envelope; and

    at least one insert station each having at least one insert supply tray for adding inserts into the collation; and

    an envelope insertion station for inserting the collation into the envelope, a printer downstream from the at least one insert station and upstream from the envelope insertion station;

    a controller operatively connected to the input system, the at least one insert station, the envelope insertion station and the printer;

    wherein the hazardous material test strip tray has a stack of hazardous material test strips wherein the at least one insert supply tray includes a hazardous material test strip tray configured to insert at least one hazardous material test strip, andwherein the controller is configured to operate the printer to print an identification number on the at least one hazardous material test strip.
