- a messaging server that receives messages;
an interface that couples the messaging server to an email server of an email system and a client device of the email system;
a form-based user interface, wherein the messaging server causes a form including form data to be transferred to the client device via the email system, wherein execution of the form data generates the form-based user interface on the client device; and
a communication coupling between the client device and at least one of the interface and the messaging server, wherein the form data controls communications between the client device and the messaging server in response to at least one user selection via the form-based user interface, wherein the communication coupling is independent of the email system.

Abstract
An integrated messaging system for performing various types of messaging across different types of networks, including integrated user interfaces and administrator interfaces. Embodiments include a communication server that couples among networks of different types, and an interface module that couples to the communication server. The interface module may be hosted on a messaging server of a network. The interface module pulls various user information from the messaging server, including information relevant to at least the network that includes the messaging server. A cache couples to the communication server and to the interface module to hold information from the communication server and/or the user information pulled from messaging server. The interface module directs a message from the messaging server and/or the cache to at least one device on the networks using the user information.

a network including a messaging system coupled to a database, a client device, and a communications network; a messaging communication server (MCS) that couples to the network; an interface module that couples to the MCS and the messaging system; a form-based user interface comprising form data, wherein the messaging system generates the form data in response to a message received from the MCS, wherein the messaging system transfers the form data and information of the message to the client device via the network; and a communication coupling between the client device and at least one of the interface module and the MCS, wherein the communication coupling is independent of the messaging system, the form data controlling the communication coupling in response to at least one user selection via the form-based user interface.
