1. A method of operating a Service Control Point (SCP), the method comprising:
- receiving a first message in a first format from a first communication device wherein the first message comprises a context message and wherein the first message indicates caller information collected by the first communication device from a caller for a call;
processing the first message in the first format to determine routing information for the call, wherein the first format comprises Internet Protocol (IP); and
transferring a second message for the call in a second format to a second communication device, wherein the second message indicates the routing information for the call and wherein the second format is different than the first format.

-
a first interface configured to receive a first message in a first format from a first communication device wherein the first message comprises a context message and wherein the first message indicates caller information collected by the first communication device from a caller for a call; a processing system configured to process the first message in the first format in a server system to determine routing information for the call, wherein the first format comprises Internet Protocol (IP); and a second interface configured to transfer a second message for the call in a second format to a second communication device, wherein the second message indicates the routing information for the call and wherein the second format is different than the first format. - View Dependent Claims (7, 8, 9, 10)
