1. A recording medium having an executable data structure for managing reproduction by reproducing apparatus of at least video data having multiple reproduction path recorded on the recording medium, comprising:
- a plurality of data files, each data filed including video data for one of the multiple reproduction paths,each data file associated with one reproduction path being separate from each data file associated with another reproduction path such that portions of each data file are not interleaved with portions of other data files, andeach data file having at least two entry points for jumping to another reproduction path;
one or more management files, managing reproduction operations performed by the reproducing apparatus, and including at least one entry point map,the at least one entry point map mapping a presentation time stamp to an address for a corresponding entry point of the data file, being associated with one of the reproduction paths and identifying entry points in the data file for the associated reproduction path, and further including information associated with each entry point, the information identifying whether a change in reproduction path is permitted in relation to the entry point and including information associated with the entry point indicating a position at which a change in reproduction path is permitted; and
the one or more management files being separate from the at least one data file.

Abstract
The recording medium has a data structure for managing reproduction of at least multiple reproduction path video data recorded on the recording medium. A data area of the recording medium has more than one reproduction path of video data recorded therein. Each reproduction path is recorded as at least one file, and each file associated with one reproduction path is separate from each file associated with another reproduction path such that portions of each file are not interleaved with portions of other files.
