- capturing an image of a scene with a digital camera utilising an adjustable focusing technique of the digital camera to produce the digital image;
detecting structures within the digital image by processing the digital image with a processor of the digital camera utilising focusing settings of the adjustable focusing technique as an indicator of positions of said structures; and
applying image effects to the detected structures with said processor.
