1. The liquid crystal display device comprising:

  • a first substrate provided with signal electrodes or display electrodes formed on one surface thereof, a second substrate provided with opposed electrodes formed thereon; and

    liquid crystal sealed in-between the first substrate and the second substrate, oppositely disposed to each other with a predetermined gap interposed therebetween, characterized in thata reflector is disposed on the second substrate,one white diffusing film is disposed on a liquid crystal side of the second substrate,a polarizing film is disposed on a visible side of the first substrate, andanother white diffusing film is disposed between the first substrate and the polarizing film,wherein a plurality of pixel portions are provided, and regions of said one white diffusing film, corresponding to respective pixel portions, have a transmittance higher than that for regions other than the respective pixel portions.
