Laminated sprinkler hypodermic needle
First Claim
1. A device for penetrating the skin of a body for delivering fluids to the body or extracting fluids from the body comprising three layers, the three layers in order from bottom to top being a first layer for providing support, a second photoresist layer adhered to the bottom layer comprising a fluid flow path and a microporous third layer adhered to the second layer enclosing the fluid flow path whereina) the device is elongate with a proximal end and a distal end, andb) the device comprises an opening to the fluid flow path at the proximal end of the device, andc) the microporous third layer comprises a multiplicity of fluid openings to the fluid flow path only near the distal end of the device.
