1. An apparatus for supplying power for a vehicle, comprising:

  • a first battery electrically connected to load devices which are mounted on the vehicle;

    a second battery, wherein when the second battery is a backup power source,the second battery is electrically isolated from the load devices, andthe second battery is electrically connected to a power generator for charging the second battery;

    said first and second batteries being interchangeable;

    wherein the first battery, the second battery, and the load devices form a parallel circuit;

    switching means for switching the first and second batteries so that when the first and second batteries are switched,said first battery serves as the backup power source and is electrically isolated from the load devices,the first battery is electrically connected to the second battery,the first battery is electrically connected to the power generator mounted on the vehicle for charging the first battery, andsaid second battery is electrically connected to the load devices;

    a monitoring device for monitoring remaining capacity for each of the first and second batteries;

    a control device, wherein when the control device determines that the remaining capacity of the second battery is less than the remaining capacity of the first battery based on information monitored by the monitoring device, the control device controls the switching means so as to conduct switching of the first and second batteries; and

    a charge controller that controls charging of the first and second batteries,wherein a charge voltage applied to the second battery is greater than a charge voltage applied to the first battery.
