1. A foldable intraocular lens, comprising:

  • an optic body disposed about an optical axis and comprising an optical zone and a peripheral zone disposed about the optical zone, the peripheral zone having an outer radius of curvature, the optic body having an anterior face, a substantially opposing posterior face, and an optic edge comprising a face disposed between the anterior face and the posterior face; and

    at least one haptic integrally formed with the peripheral zone, comprising;

    a distal posterior face, a proximal posterior face, and boundary between the proximal posterior face and the distal posterior face, the distal posterior face being offset in a direction along the optical axis from the proximal posterior face at the boundary;

    the proximal posterior face of the haptic and the posterior face of the optic body forming a continuous surface bounded by the optic edge and the boundary between the proximal posterior face and the distal posterior face;

    the boundary having a profile about the optical axis that includes a rounded tip.
