an air hole formed in the second support and leading from the specimen supply path to the outside of the biosensor, a diameter of an opening of the air hole at one surface of the second support which faces the specimen supply path being larger than a diameter of an opening of the air hole at the other surface of the second support, the air hole being located at a position different from the position of the specimen-drawing opening of the space between the supports so as to accelerate the drawing of the specimen into the space between the supports, whereinthe area of the opening of the air hole at the one surface of the second support facing the specimen supply path is 1.76×
