1. A method of preparing an immobilized protein catalyst, comprising steps of(a) applying a polymeric adhesive to a polymeric support to adhere said polymeric support to a globular protein layer;
- (b) applying a layer of a globular protein over the layer of adhesive to form said globular protein layer;
(c) binding a crosslinking agent to the protein layer; and
(d) reacting a protein catalyst with the crosslinking agent thereby binding said protein catalyst to said crosslinking agent to immobilize said protein catalyst on said polymeric support.
