1. A method for assigning communication frequencies, the method comprising:

  • determining from a set of frequencies to be used, initial frequencies to be utilized by a plurality of Bluetooth communication devices residing on a single host device;

    assigning a first portion of said determined initial frequencies to a first of said plurality of Bluetooth communication devices;

    assigning at least a second portion of said determined initial frequencies selected from a remaining portion of said determined initial frequencies to at least a second of said plurality of Bluetooth devices residing on said single host device; and

    allocating Bluetooth applications to said plurality of Bluetooth communication devices based on one or both of;

    available bandwidth of each of said plurality of Bluetooth communication devices and/or an identifier of each of said Bluetooth applications.
