1. A method for supporting a power saving mode action of a mobile station (MS) in a wireless mobile communication system, the method comprising:

  • receiving a first message including trigger information from a base station (BS), wherein the trigger information includes at least one trigger condition and at least one event action which is performed upon reaching the at least one trigger condition;

    transmitting a sleep request message (SLP-REQ) including a first enabled triggered parameter to the BS, wherein the first enabled triggered parameter indicates at least one event action which the MS is able to perform;

    receiving a sleep response message (SLP-RSP) including a second enabled triggered parameter from the BS, wherein the second enabled triggered parameter indicates at least one event action which the BS permits to the MS in response to the sleep request message (SLP-REQ); and

    performing by the MS the at least one event action indicated by the second enabled triggered parameter when the at least one trigger condition occurs in a power saving mode.
